Guns N' Roses, an American band that started in the late 1980s. The main members of the band are Axl Rose(William Bailey), Slash(Saul Hudson), Duff Mckagan(Michael Mackagan), Izzy Stradlin(Jeff Isabel) 

"Sweet Child of Mine"

The song "Sweet Child of Mine", is written by Axl Rose, the lead singer of the band. It is about his wife Erin Everly who he married few years after the song was released. The song mostly described his feelings for his wife.

Sweet Child of Mine was released as the third single from Guns N Roses debut album, Apatite for destruction, by  Greefen Records in June of 1988. The album itself came out the following month. the music video for sweet child of mine was shot in Huntington beach, California. It was one of the most best selling songs in the world. It's guitar solo was considered to be one of the "100 greatest solos" ever. It was placed at number 37 in the aforementioned list.
