The main members of the band are Axl Rose(William Bailey), Slash(Saul Hudson), Duff Mckagan(Michael Mackagan), Izzy Stradlin(Jeff Isabel) "Sweet Child of Mine" The song "Sweet Child of Mine", is written by Axl Rose, the lead singer of the band. It is about his wife Erin Everly who he married few years after the song was released. The song mostly described his feelings for his wife. Sweet Child of Mine was released as the third single from Guns N Roses debut album, Apatite for destruction, by Greefen Records in June of 1988.
